Helloo lovelies! I’m currently typing this post at work ha-ha not a good example to live by but I have a bit of down time and figured I would share with you my awesome BB cream that I made this morning . Its summertime yall which means no more cakey foundation and strobed concealer its time to lighten up what we put on our face so we don’t melt away ha-ha. So this post is how I make my homemade bb cream. It is super simple and you probably already have the ingredients in your make up bag so it’s FREEE ☺

Disclosure: I just want to let you know that I do receive commission when you purchase products I link in this post. This is of course at no cost to you and all of my recommendations are honest personal opinions only and should be followed at your own risk 🙂

What You Need:

*SPF Moisturizer – I use Neutrogena SPF Moisturizer

*A Concealer or Foundation (pick one) that matches your skin tone or even a little darker – I use a cheaper foundation called Maybelline Fit ME and the concealer I use is the LA Pro Concealer. You don’t want to use expensive products for the diy 🙂

*Empty container or jar for the product (I use travel containers from Walmart that are a dollar)

*Liquid Highlight (Optional)- My absolute fav is the L’Oréal True Match Lumi Glow Armour.

How to Make:

Step 1: Gather your materials

Step 2: Into the empty container Mix about 2 tablespoons of moisturizer with around 1.5 tablespoons of foundation or concealer.

*if you want more coverage I recommend using a concealer rather than a foundation. Also , the moisturizer may lighten the mixture if you’re a darker skinned like myself the mixture may be too light so I recommend adding a little more concealer until it match your shade. If it becomes too dark add more moisturizer to lighten the mixture

Step 3: Add 1-2 drop of highlighter to the mixture – I recommend start small and add more if necessary

You know its summer so I got to add highlight for that summer glow ☺ adding the liquid highlighter adds a little dewiness to the bb cream giving you a nice summer look. This step is completely optional.

Conclusion

Can you believe that is it? Yess yall it is literally only 2-3 ingredients and can be whipped up in minutes. It may take some adjusting of shades but once you find the perfect shade – you now have a cheap and effective BB cream.
