Hello everyone. I have to admit I have had some hectic days lately and a lot of things seem to be going wrong BUT I realized these are defining moments for me and i wanted to share with you how to boss up and destress so you can actually tackle the problems you have instead of hiding from them. These are all the things I do when I’m BEYOND STRESSED to snap myself out of depression and back into boss bitch mode.

Clean your home
Having a cluttered living space can lead to so much anxiety and stress. When my house is out of order, it makes all of my other ACTUAL problems seem much worse. When you are stressed and have a lot on your mind, the first thing you should always do is just tidy up your living space. Having a clean-living space makes you feel more accomplished and motivated.
Imagine being stressed and having to be in a very messy environment… it does not help the situation. It’s hard for me to function with my house a mess because it makes me feel like I’m trapped. Especially when I have a lot on my mind. When everything is clean and tidy, I feel ready to tackle problems that may arise. A clean home is a happy home!
Have a Fresh Aroma
Once my home is clean, I will use a oil diffuser to get good smells circulating through my home. Don’t have candles or a oil diffuser? That’s fine heat a pot of water to about medium heat and add lemons for a fresh citrus scent. You can also add things like vanilla extract or cinnamon to create an aroma throughout your home. When your house smells good, you will feel good. Therefore, I added this to this list. Not only is your house tidy, but it also smells nice .. .good start to create a less stressful day.
Play Music that Puts you in a Good Mood
Who doesn’t like music? It is so therapeutic and always gets me in a good mood. When I’m trying to relax and destress, I will usually listen to instrumental music. It is very calming and aids positive thinking. Sometimes I just dance around to my music it is the best way to ease stress. Just forget about it and jam to the music. This will put you in a good state of mind to tackle problems.
Do a Yoga Routine
Yoga has honestly changed my life. When I’m feeling tense, stressed, overwhelmed, or uneasy, I always do a quick yoga routine. My favorite one to do right now is a 7-minute yoga exercise on the Nike Training App. It has great positioning that really helps you relax and relieve tension.
Did you know that stress can cause neck and back pain? A little yoga or any quick exercise will ease the tension in all your muscles and help you get a little closer to being stress-free. Check out my post for fitness apps to find some cool workouts you can do at home.
Make a Hot Drink
My drink of choice is tea. I absolutely love tea, especially when I’m trying to relax and organize my daily stressors. I’ve been drinking this Matcha Tea and it Is amazing and has a ton of health benefits. Its kinda complex to make but totally worth it and comes with a whole set to make the best cup:D It’s all natural and has a very pleasant taste with no sugar. Sometimes I’ll make hot chocolate or coffee but lately, I’ve been reaching for a hot mug of tea. When you curl up with a hot drink anything is possible 😀
You will feel the relaxation come over your body when you chill and drink some tea , coffee or hot cocoa 🙂
Brain Dump

Have you ever been so stressed that you don’t even know what you stressed about? Haha yeah, that’s me … Sometimes you just have to write out your problems. Get your journal or notebook ready. Write what’s stressing you out the most. Is it bills? Your job? Your relationship?
Whatever the culprits are identify them, and then you can better see how to solve it. Once you can create a clear plan to solve these problems, they become things you don’t stress about.
Day by day, you can set yourself up for better. Create a plan. Find solutions for your stressors. If you’re stressing about bills, find a solution to either spend less money or make more money. If you’re stressed about your job, maybe consider finding something different or communicating with your superior at work. Whatever the issue is big or small, you can solve it with a plan.
Relax
Once you complete your plan, take some time and just chill. Do something that relaxes you and makes you happy. After all, you deserve it!
Think Positive. Be Positive!
It’s hard to be positive when it seems negative things are constantly going happening. However, with hard work, you can slowly live a less stressful life. Motivate yourself to follow the plan you created and continue to work on what you need to eliminate those stressors in your life.
Conclusion
Stress will always be a part of your life; it’s a natural response to the unknown. But you can ease your mind of stress and not let hard times define you. Life will always have its moments when it becomes more overwhelming. You, however, can cope with the daily stressors of life. Just take time to find solutions and remember that some things take time.

i feel yo with being stressed – ive been overloading myself for like the past 3 months and i think I’m actually losing hair jk . Yoga helps me because its the only way i can like stop and be mindful of relaxation if not my mind will keep going and i will keep finding other things to “fix” instead of actually relaxing !
Being stressed is an awful feeling. It used to be one that plagued my every day, but it’s luckily a lot less often now. When it *does* come around every now and then, I also find that cleaning, listening to music, and doing a brain dump helps a lot ☺️
