Being healthier has been a huge goal for me because I truly just want my body to operate at its maximum potential. Starting a healthy lifestyle can be difficult and sometimes keeping up with your meals and making sure you’re eating all the correct nutrients can become hard to keep up with. That’s where vitamins come in for me.

I really love taking the supplements that I do because they really help my body get all of the required nutrients it needs without worrying about if I ate enough kale to satisfy my recommended Vitamin A intake.


When you have vitamins you are 100% for sure that you got the daily nutrients and you are able to stay on top of your health. While I don’t recommend bombarding your body with 20 vitamins a day taking a few vitamins may prove beneficial for your health. I’ve put together a small list of the vitamins I take daily to boost my health and to ensure that my body is getting what it needs to perform its best !

1| Olive Leaf Extract

 Olive Leaf Extract is a supplement I can NOT live without. The health benefits associated are phenomenal and I actually noticed a huge difference in my health within days of adding the vitamin to my daily regimen.


What is Olive Leaf Extract?


Olive leaf extract is basically the byproduct of olive leafs called Oleuropein. Olive leaf extract is also composed of numerous compounds that provide multiple  health benefits, and in some countries it is used by medical professionals for its antiviral and antibacterial properties .

I have been taking olive leaf extract for 2 years and I will never look back. I’ve noticed improvement in my overall energy levels as well as my health (I don’t get sick as often).


Olive leaf extract is also beneficial for increasing your metabolism, improving your immune system, lowering blood pressure and it also shows antiviral properties that can relieve the symptoms of dreaded cold sores and HSV.


Olive Leaf Extract is not very easy to find in drug stores but I order my OLE on Amazon here. It is in pill form but you can also buy the extract liquid here  and add it to tea or water for similar benefits to taking the tablets.
However OLE  is used it is awesome and I definitely recommend you checking out Olive Leaf Extract to improve your health.

2| Hair Skin and Nails


 Now if you are a woman you can understand why the Hair, Skin and Nails Vitamins may be a must haha. Women obviously love having healthy hair, long nails and glowing skin and that is exactly what these vitamins do.


I have been taking Hair, Skin and Nails Vitamins since I was in the 10th grade – 7 years ago and I will probably never stop. My nails grow like crazy, people always ask me why my nails are sooooo long and thick, my hair is growing at a steady rate and my skin is great.


These vitamins have been really helping me and my natural beauty, and combined with other vitamins and good diet and exercise you will be unstoppable.

I hate pills and the only pill I take is my antianxiety and the olive leaf extract … The best thing about these vitamins is they come in GUMMIES  I’ve always used the Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies and I have never switched brands . 3| Multivitamins


Now taking a multivitamin is a pretty common supplement that people take but that still does not mean that I should not mention it. I think a daily multivitamin is probably the most important on this list just because it is literally a vitamin that has a mixture of all the vitamins the human body needs to function such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Iron.

These vitamins and nutrients all play a vital part in your survival and without the proper amount you’re subject to nutrient deficiencies that can have some annoying side effects.


For example, I have an iron deficiency, my body does not produce enough iron and I don’t have enough in my diet to be sufficient so I take an iron supplement because iron is important for your blood cells and oxygen flow. Before I knew I was iron deficient I was always cold, tired and very weak – once I found out my deficiency and started taking the supplements the symptoms went away because my body was fulfilled  .

So I always recommend people to get their blood checked with your physician to make sure they don’t have any nutrient deficiencies because some of them have some pretty exhausting side effects and just to make sure you’re covering all basis a multivitamin a day will keep the deficiencies away 😀

As for the vitamins I take daily I use the Natures Bounty Multivitamin – These are gummies as well and I have noticed a huge difference in my energy levels as well as my appetite . Im not as hungry because the multivitamin gives me a lot of the nutrients that keep me satisfied. So definitely get on the multivitamin train if you take anything from this post today!

Conclusion

Sometimes our bodies need a little push in the right direction and I think vitamins and supplements do just that. They provide you with much needed nutrients that you may have not gotten from your diet.

Some vitamins also provide a boost in health such as the Olive Leaf Extract mentioned that isn’t a necessary vitamin for survival BUT it packs a great punch for health.
